Humanitarian demining of lands of Ukraine
Approximately 200,000 km² remain mined in Ukraine.
Every day, civilians, including children, are blown up.
Farmers cannot cultivate their land. As a result, Ukraine, as one of the largest grain-exporting countries, loses the ability to help the world with the food crisis.
Currently, more than 200,000 km² are mined, and, as a result of Russian aggression, the area of Ukrainian territory contaminated with mines is constantly increasing.
In the war-torn Kharkiv region, warning signs occasionally appear near brown, barren fields that were once the front line.
A significant problem is the lack of quality equipment for demining, which seriously complicates the work of sappers in Ukraine and slows down the process of demining territories, requiring immediate resolution.
